The 38-year-old comes from Invest in Bavaria and focuses on cross-industry partnerships

Christian Gnam
Christian Gnam has been the new Director Partner Management of the BMWi-funded InsurTech Hub Munich (ITHM) since January 2019. The 38-year-old is responsible for the operational development and scaling of the hub as well as the acquisition of new member companies.
Christian Gnam studied economic geography at LMU Munich and gained his first professional experience in sales and as a market analyst in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Gnam then worked in the Department of Labor and Economics at the City of Munich, where he was responsible for partnerships between China and Bavaria. Most recently, Gnam headed the investment team for start-ups, life science, energy and environmental technology as well as chemicals at Invest in Bavaria, the business promotion agency of the Free State of Bavaria. Invest in Bavaria helps companies from Germany and abroad to gain a foothold in the Bavarian market.
The ITHM operates across all industries

We will continue to operate across industries in the future and network our newly acquired partners with promising InsurTech start-ups from all over the world - our role is that of a supplier of ideas and technology for large corporations from various sectors."
