The ÖRAG Group joins the InsurTech Hub Munich (ITHM) as a new insurance member. This further expands the ITHM's reach in Germany and strengthens its leading position as a national and international center for insurance innovation. With the ÖRAG Group, the ITHM has gained another representative from the group of public insurers. In addition to ÖRAG, two large public insurers - Provinzial Versicherung and Versicherungskammer Bayern, one of the hub's founding members - are already members of the ITHM.
The ÖRAG Group, headquartered in Düsseldorf, serves around 12 million customers through its umbrella companies ÖRAG Rechtsschutzversicherung and Deutsche Assistance Versicherung. As the central cooperation partner for legal insurance in the group of public insurers, ÖRAG-Rechtsschutzversicherungs-AG is one of the top 5 in the German legal insurance market.
