Germany wants to become more digital. That is why the Federal Ministry of Economics has launched its "Digital Hub Initiative". A total of twelve digital hubs were selected by a jury. Alongside Cologne, Munich was awarded the contract for the insurtech hub. In the meantime, twelve Bavarian insurers have founded a supporting association in the state capital.
