The InsurTech Hub does not provide a platform for strategy, market, or price agreements. The following are not permitted:

  • Agreements/exchange of company-related information such as prices, price components, discounts, pricing strategies and calculations, as well as planned price changes.
  • Contractual provisions relevant to competition from contracts with customers and suppliers (in particular delivery and payment terms)
  • Corporate strategies and future market behavior, planned investments, internal research projects, profits, profit forecasts,
  • Market shares, sales and revenue figures, quotas and capacities, participation or non-participation in tenders, tender conditions, 
  • Division of markets or sources of supply by territory or customer, information about supplying or not supplying certain customers, boycotts and calls for boycotts 

Dealing with intellectual property in the innovation cluster 

  • The InsurTech Hub is an innovation cluster and, as such, does not own any intellectual property.
  • Cluster users are advised to protect their own intellectual property and to establish clear ownership agreements for joint work results. 
  • Participants can gain insight into the expertise of other participants and generate new knowledge and results. These results may constitute intellectual property. 
  • It is recognized that, if the collaboration leads to marketable work products, these work products may be shared with the public.
