Accelerating the speed of innovation together

Powerful partners in digitization: InsurTech Hub Munich and Bitkom announce cooperation

Moving digitization in Germany ahead, building bridges between established corporations and new players, reducing anxiety and retention: These are goals both InsurTech Hub Munich and digital association Bitkom do relate to. So it is a logical step to intensify existing liaisons and cooperate more closely.

"Disruption often works best when established corporations partner up with startups or protagonists from outside their own industry. We aim to accelerate the speed of innovation in Germany together with Bitkom, an association dedicated to digitization issues for two decades now", explains Johannes Wagner, board member of InsurTech Hub Munich and Head of Startup Cooperations at Versicherungskammer Bayern.

Fabian Nadler, insurance industry expert at Bitkom, adds: "In this joint effort with InsurTech Hub Munich, we want to promote the debate about using digital technologies and new business models. Both institutions have the goal to secure and broaden the spearheading position of Germany in the financial industry."
