As a digital hub, Munich will also work on the topic of 'InsurTech' in future in order to drive forward the digitalization of the insurance industry. This was announced by the Federal Ministry of Economics (BMWi) at the end of last week. In addition to the topic of 'Mobility', for which the state capital was already awarded the contract in the spring, a second focus will thus be set.
It is only natural that Munich should be chosen as a 'Digital Hub' location for 'InsurTech' in addition to 'Mobility'. After all, Munich is one of the leading insurance locations in the world and is strongly positioned in this sector with over 60,000 jobs.
