The InsurTech Hub Munich (ITHM) is entering into a "knowledge partnership" with Deloitte. The partnership aims to make the potential of rapidly developing artificial intelligence (AI) transparent and understandable for the insurance industry. As part of the hub's current AI programs, ITHM and Deloitte will work to strengthen the insurance industry through joint analyses, studies and recommendations for action.

ITHM's focus this year is on its Scale AI programs, which are dedicated to scaling AI for insurance companies. The aim is to support the insurance industry in strategically integrating AI technology, moving beyond proof-of-concepts and establishing high-quality end-to-end processes. Aspects such as navigating complex regulations and attracting qualified talent are crucial here.
Deloitte, a leading global audit and advisory firm, has been selected by ITHM as a Knowledge Partner to develop and drive key strategic guidance. The partnership is designed to provide guidance on AI, particularly in the area of Generative AI, and to understand the groundbreaking trends and potential for change that are shaping the industry.

Dr. Klaus Driever, Chairman of the Board of InsurTech Hub Munich e.V., is delighted with the new partnership: "We are delighted to be working with Deloitte. The combination of insights from our AI programs with Deloitte's technological, regulatory and strategic overview will help our community of insurers and start-ups to successfully tackle the challenges of AI. Through the partnership, we aim to expand our knowledge with data and analytics from Deloitte and create a publicly accessible collective know-how."
Dr. Jörg Günther, Partner and Insurance Lead Consulting at Deloitte, adds: "We are also very much looking forward to the collaboration with the InsurTech Hub Munich and the stimulating exchange with the insurance industry. With the knowledge partnership for the Scale AI program, we can provide profound impulses and support a growing number of insurers in making strategic decisions on the use of AI even more strongly based on sound data. Our expertise, industry focus and role in relevant technology ecosystems will enable us to add even more value to the insurance industry."
