The EU Business Wallet is currently emerging as a key component of the European digital identity infrastructure. As part of the eIDAS 2.0 Regulation and an EU initiative, it opens up new opportunities for insurance companies—such as in the digital identification of businesses (e.g., KYC/KYB in accordance with AMLR requirements), the design of employee processes and authorization for representation, as well as the secure sharing of documents with corporate clients and partners.
In this event, we would first like to provide an overview of the regulatory framework and, in particular, the potential applications of the EU Business Wallet. Following these introductory remarks, we will work with participants in a workshop format to develop and discuss specific use cases and requirements for the usability of the EU Business Wallet for insurance companies.
