The new kids from the block: Nine highly promising teams have been selected to kick off our 3rd batch of the W1Forward InsurTech Accelerator

No less than 75 startups applied at the InsurTech Hub Munich for W1Forward InsurTech Accelerator’s 3^rd round. In April, the teams with the most promising ideas presented themselves to a committee of founding members of InsurTech Hub Munich:

The W1 Forward InsurTech Accelerator was launched in 2015 by leading insurance companies to drive sustainable innovation in the insurance space and to change the industry for good. The tailor-made program helps startups validate their business models and develop market-ready products or services during an 8-week intensive program. In its third batch, nine startups from Germany, Austria, Slovakia, USA, India and Australia have been selected. The teams use the WERK1 infrastructure and work hand in hand with renowned coaches, mentors and partners in order to gain a foothold in the German market.

With the complementary funding programs, W1Forward InsurTech and Insurtech Europe powered by Plug and Play, InsurTech Hub Munich is expanding its position as European epicenter for innovation in the insurance sector.
