Lisa Lang joins InsurTech Hub Munich as Events Manager, Reinhard Saller as Senior Partnership Manager
Lisa Lang has joined the InsurTech Hub Munich (ITHM) team as Events Manager as of January 2020. The 33-years old Würzburg native has worked at Messe München as Exhibitions Manager for seven years before joining FriendScout, a subsidiary of French online dating service Meetic, as Events Manager Central Europe in 2016. During the past two years she was working for automotive and material processing company REMA TIP TOP AG as Senior Consultant Fairs & Events in 2018. Lisa attended Euro-Business-College Munich, graduating in Project and Events Management and holds a degree in foreign language correspondence.
“Expect us to host a number of new, cool event formats in the next weeks and months, the first being related to our fifth Innovation Programme, which starts in February”, Lisa says. In the past, events management was in the hands of Corine Ackermann, who now focusses on the entrepreneurs’ community as ITHM’s Startup Relations Lead.
Reinhard Saller has also joined ITHM in January, strengthening cooperation with the hub’s partners as Senior Partnership Manager. Over the past eight years, the 46-years old has worked for communications agency IWK GmbH specialized in advising venture capital, private equity, start-up, M&A advisory and professional services companies. Since 2014 Reinhard was IWK’s Managing Director. Before that he was heading corporate communications and marketing at the financial services company Telis Finanz. Reinhard has studied history and German literature in Regensburg and Oxford and holds a PhD from Regensburg University.
“As a member of ITHM’s great and passionate team I am looking forward to bring in my broad and long-standing network and my experience in consulting both sides – corporates as well as entrepreneurs”, Reinhard says. He will work closely with Christian Gnam, ITHM’s Director Partnerships.
“2019 was a year of enormous growth for InsurTech Hub Munich”, says out Managing Director Manuel Holzhauer, “we have significantly expanded our cross-industry network, broadened our strategy and offers and established new team functions”. “The head count has doubled within the past twelve months, we’re a party of ten now”, Manuel points out. “This makes us a lot stronger in pushing ahead innovation in the industry and beyond it. Expect the unexpected!”
