InsurTech Hub Munich (ITHM) launches its NXT:Distribution Innovation Programme, an innovation programme designed to address the future of insurance distribution. 20 selected startups are participating in the programme. The programme aims to address one of the insurance industry’s most significant challenges by focusing on three key areas: Access to GenZ, Hybrid Journeys and Embedded Insurance. ITHM will leverage its community of leading insurers, tech firms, cross-industry players, and international startups to delve deeper into the distribution landscape and create concrete synergies within its community.
“We are excited to welcome these 20 exceptional startups to the NXT:Distribution Programme. Selected from among more than 200 applications spanning 42 countries, these startups demonstrated outstanding potential to engage in meaningful conversations with our corporate network,” said ITHM Managing Director Christian Gnam. “At ITHM, we recognize that establishing productive collaborations between insurers and startups is key to driving digital transformation within the insurance industry, and we look forward to supporting these startups as they generate business impact for our corporate networks, their distribution strategies and channels.”
“Distribution is the most significant challenge facing the insurance industry today, with rapidly evolving customer expectations and an ever-changing technology landscape”, comments ITHM Programme Director Esther Prax. “By leveraging the collective expertise of our community, we will identify collaboration opportunities for hybrid customer journeys, omnichannel orchestration, embedded insurance solutions and access to Gen Z”.
