Munich, 27 June 2023. InsurTech Hub Munich (ITHM), leading platform that fosters innovation and collaboration within the insurance sector, is announcing its strategic knowledge partnership with global consultancy firm Roland Berger.
The insurance distribution landscape is currently undergoing rapid transformation, influenced by factors such as increasing regulations, a shortage of young talent in intermediary sales, and technological advancements. Recognizing the need to understand and adapt to these changes, InsurTech Hub Munich, following an extensive Innovation Programme on the future of insurance distribution, has forged a strategic partnership with Roland Berger to capitalize and build on the insights gained. This collaboration aims to provide a framework and deepen the understanding of the key trends and disruptions that will shape the industry, with a specific focus on embedded insurance.
“We are delighted to liaise with Roland Berger. Combining insights from our programme with Roland Berger’s strategic overview and analytical knowledge aims at helping insurers and startups navigating through the challenging future of distribution” commented Christian Gnam, Managing Director at InsurTech Hub Munich. “Through our partnership, we want to enrich our insights with data and analyses from Roland Berger and create collective know-how for the public.”
Claudia Fell, Senior Partner and Insurance DACH Lead Roland Berger and Dr. Pascal Lehnen, Partner Roland Berger, add, “we are happy to collaborate with ITHM and their members on the future of insurance distribution and look forward to contributing with our insights and expertise.”
