Two weeks ago, the InsurTech Hub Munich kicked off its partnership with the global innovation platform Plug & Play with a first joint event, the Selection Day for the Plug & Play InsurTech Batch #0 at Isarpost in Munich.
Amongst the diverse crowd of 25 startups were home-grown local heroes as well as international Startups; each pitching their ambitious ideas that would innovate and shake up the insurance industry we know today. Ideas spanned from providing solutions in the fields of telematics, big data, e-health, digital processes, AI and claims management. Following the larger pitch session, Startups and representatives of all InsurTech Hub Munich member insurance firms mingled, exchanged ideas, contacts and thoughts on potential business collaborations.
