InsurTech Hub Munich honors the commitment of its corporate partners with the Frontrunner Award, the Digital Connector Award and the Most Engaged Partner Award.
In collaboration we trust: InsurTech Hub Munich (ITHM) not only scouts international startups with dedicated founders and groundbreaking business ideas, but it also relies on the strong commitment and powerful expertise of its 22 cross-industry corporate partners. “The network’s success is only possible thanks to the fabulous engagement of our partners. During the recent H+ Digital Health Innovation Programme, we were able to coordinate more than 350 business development sessions with the 40 participating startups”, says Dr. Reinhard Saller, ITHM’s Senior Partnerships Manager. “We are very proud that we see around 45 collaboration opportunities on the horizon”.
To honor the efforts of its partners, ITHM has created three distinctions:
1. The H+ Frontrunner Award: LV 1871
Reinhard Saller: “This award goes to a company with a laser-focused innovation strategy beyond traditional insurance cover. LV 1871 follows an approach which brings them to the forefront of innovation”.
Sandra John, Head of Claims and Underwriting at LV1871: “Startups like Instahelp assits us in sharpening our strategy both in customer benefits and prevention. Thank you for challenging our vision – the future will not be coming to us, it will be formed by us!”
2. The Global Connector Award: Dai-ichi Life
Saller: “We want to honor partners that open up their international network to foster the global exchange of innovation. Dai-ichi helps our startups to understand the workings of the Asian market, its specific needs and mentality.
Kazuya Komemoto, Manager at Dai-ichi Life Europe: “By participating in the H+ programme, we no only met some great healthtech startups, but also learnt a lot about trends and European initiatives in this field.”
3. H+ Most Engaged Partner Award: Allianz

Christopher Schwarz, Head of Product Development & Innovation Lab at Allianz Private Krankenversicherung: “H+ really created an outstanding opportunity for us to deepen our existing knowledge about digital transformation. The talks between our experts and the startups were really engaged.”
