InsurTech Hub Munich and Dutch Association of Insurers collaborate on InsurTech

InsurTech Hub Munich (ITHM) and the Dutch Association of Insurers have agreed to collaborate with respect to InsurTech. At the DIA Amsterdam, both parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the goal to foster common interests around several key areas of cooperation on new approaches and innovation in the field of InsurTech.

Amsterdam,  26. June 2019

ITHM and the Dutch Association of Insurers will exchange information and offer assistance to each other in areas such as regional developments, innovation trends, accelerator programs and will welcome insurtech startups in their jurisdictions.

Richard Weurding, Managing Director of the Dutch Association of Insurers: “We are very pleased to announce here today at DIA Amsterdam our collaboration with ITHM. This collaboration will offer great opportunities for both parties involved. InsurTech developments from the Munich InsurTech ecosystem are important for our members. As the Dutch Association of Insurers, we are looking forward to the mutual exchange of information between German and Dutch insurers and the promotion of startups in both ecosystems.”


The Dutch Association’s approach towards InsurTech matches with ITHM

Johannes Wagner, Board Member of ITHM and Head of Startup Cooperation at Versicherungskammer Bayern, is pleased about the collaboration with the Dutch Association of Insurers: “The Dutch Association’s approach towards insurtech matches with ITHM and, thus, we strongly believe that both sides can benefit from this partnership.
