The InsurTech Hub Munich (ITHM) welcomes the Japanese insurance group Dai-ichi Life as a new partner. Through the ITHM partnership Dai-ichi Life expects a broader access to European Insurtechs.

The Japanese life insurance group Dai-ichi Life becomes a new partner of InsurTech Hub Munich e.V. (ITHM). Being already present and active in the US innovation ecosystem through its Innovation Lab in Silicon Valley, the company now wants to strengthen its innovation scouting in Europe through the ITHM. “Innovation and the use of new technologies are an inherent part of Dai-ichi Life’s DNA. As a partner of ITHM, we are therefore pleased to gain better access to the European Insurtech scene and to exchange views on the developments and challenges in innovating our customer expereience and operational efficiency of the insurance industry,” explains Yasumasa Iwai, Executive Officer Dai-ichi Life Holdings Inc. and Head of Insurtech at Dai-ichi Life.
Dai-ichi Life opens new markets in Asia for ITHM Startups
